Sanctuary Citadel - a client case study 🌟

When a self-referred person and her teenage son moved from temporary accommodation into a long-term home in Newport, Sanctuary Citadel was there to support them through the transition.

The supported person was matched with a local volunteer who continues to meet with her regularly, helping with everything from setting up household bills and paperwork to the practical challenges of settling into a new community.

With support from our team, volunteers and B&Q funding, the family were also able to furnish their new home and make it a comfortable, welcoming place for her family.

This is a great example of the combination of practical support, financial guidance, volunteer companionship and ongoing connection that makes Citadel more than just a housing service.
